The shoe wishlist

Few days ago I found these great shoes and God,how I would like to own at least a pair but since there is no Deichmann(a German sort-of-shoe supermarket) in Macedonia I will have to wait till I travel to Croatia or Serbia...which will be pretty soon I'm sure :)

So the snow kinda inspired me to search for new snow boots or anything that would do for snow. And I found these great models that I hope will do the trick.I own though a pair of great snow boots but they are fluffy and pink.Don't really match my really bright orange snow jacket and electric blue skiing pants xD.

I need a new pair of sneakers. So one pair of these 3 will be very lucky to come home with me.We'll see what we can find.
I'm in love with this shoe.Like really in love.

Awww these are soo cute.I need new flats and these seem to be perfect for that matter.Plus...I like flowers.

When it comes to shoes I'm not like a brand freak.I like what I like no matter the brand. An exception from this are sneakers.I like my sneakers branded(sport brands) but shoes, boots and so on-No.

Some movie reviews

Okay,I will try to do some movie reviews. On the list:"Lilya 4-ever"-a film by Swedish director  Lukas Moodysson and "The Countess"-a film by a great director Julie Deply.

First up is "Lilya 4-ever".The movie is about a 16 year old Russian girl who gets abandoned from her mother and is left on her own.Lilya is being kicked-out of her apartment by her aunt and goes to live in a very bad, small apartment.Soon she runs out of money, she can't buy food and she has no electricity or heat in her home. After she sees her friend trading sex for money, she starts doing that as well as she has no other choice to get money. And this is where the horror starts for her.
The film shows the really "grey" side of Russia, the poor neighborhoods, the prostitution and the actual human trafficking with the wealthy countries. It's a very depressing movie, low budget but it's an excellent movie.I liked it mainly because of that sense. It's worth watching.I can actually see my country in the film.Lot of the pictures reminded me of Skopje. So definitely watch it.

Next is "The countess".This is also a great movie. If you just think deeply into the story and the movie itself you'll see that it is not a historical movie but a psychological thriller. It goes deeply in the human thinking and how the greed can completely destroy our sanity. And of course it tells the story of the famous Hungarian Countess Erzsebet Bathory
So Countess Bathory was a Hungarian Countess who was at the time one of the most powerful and wealthy woman in Hungary and that whole Central Europe area.As I'm guessing we all know she was accused of murdering hundreds of young women. Allegedly she murdered them by draining their blood and later using them to take baths or whatever so she could stay young. But they found out what she did and  she went on trial where she was sentenced to be walled in her bedroom forever. That's the main thing. But the thing what you probably didn't know and what this movie tells is the fact that the Countess had an affair with a young nobleman and when he was married to another woman, she thought he didn't like her because she looked old(she was 39 he was 21).So that's why she kinda lost it.

Anyway, both films are European and they are great. So I recommend them. They made my weekend. ^^ Enjoy.

Trapped in snow

I know I don't write as often but I really don't have the time to.I'm very busy with school since I have an exam on the 24th.Outside is the end of the world. It's snowing like crazy, constantly. The city doesn't clean the snow off the streets and I can't go out(my door is trapped and the only place with not so much snow is the street, where cars are passing),I can't get to school because the streets are not cleaned and so on.And my relatives from Croatia are enjoying the lifetime opportunity with the snow. They live on the bay where snow comes once in 20 years(my grandma said that she doesn't remember seeing so much snow there since she was a kid) and they have their garden with palm trees, lemon trees, roses and all sorts of flowers and now it's all covered in snow. The people are gliding on the streets with their surfing boards. It's very interesting(since there,on the seaside is more snow than here,on north, surrounded by mountains and everything) but also not so much.Anyway I'll be heading in my backyard now to make a snowman. These photos was taken by my cousin who lives there.
